In Diablo 4, farm Treasure Goblins near the event close only if an unclaimed gift is reachable before the timer ends. Gold cannot raise Goblin reputation: D4 Gold serves a different purpose from event progress.
Start at the Goblin Altar
Open the Goblin Altar in Kyovashad on your Seasonal character before starting a route. The board has ten ranks; compare your current Rank with the next named gift and confirm whether Fedric's Gift already shows as claimed.
Fedric's Gift at Rank 10 contains a Resplendent Spark and Runes. Rank 10 also unlocks the Regalia of the Sacred Creed mount cosmetics and the March of the Goblins Emblem if they are still missing from the account. Those rewards make the last push worthwhile only when the remaining Rank gap fits inside the event clock.
The stated close is November 4, 2026, around 10:00 a.m. PT. Leave at least five minutes for a return to town and Altar claims rather than treating the whole remaining period as farming time.
Claim first, then farm the reachable tier
Every named gift sits on an even Rank, so a nearly full progress bar is useful only if it leads to an unclaimed reward. The Altar's Rank and claimed status are the feedback to inspect after each push.
Rank Gift Reward
2 Baron's Gift Gold
4 Ector's Gift Crafting materials
6 Murl's Gift Murmuring Obols
8 Prym's Gift Gem Fragments and Runes
10 Fedric's Gift Resplendent Spark and Runes
Murmuring Obols can be spent at Gambling vendors after the event, making an attainable Murl's Gift useful even when Fedric is out of reach. Prym is the practical target when Rank 8 is reachable but Rank 10 is not.
At the Goblin Altar, inspect each available gift and claim every unclaimed reward before leaving town.
Clear inventory space and put materials in the stash. Note your current Rank, the next unclaimed gift, and the time remaining.
Run short outdoor circuits near town portals. March of the Goblins raises Treasure Goblin density above ordinary open-world levels, so familiar routes reduce travel time.
After a Rank increase, return to the Altar and inspect the next gift. Claim it when available, then check its claimed status and your inventory.
Check mail after each claim, especially before switching characters. Gift mail can appear after a loading screen.
Know when the next run stops paying
Compare your actual Rank progress with the gap to the next unclaimed gift. If that gap needs more time than remains, stop the Goblin route and claim anything already available.
Infernal Hordes Treasure Goblin waves and Nightmare Dungeon affixes that increase Goblin chance can help with a small gap, but a long detour is a poor choice near the deadline. A character one Rank below Fedric has a finite target; a character far below Rank 8 with only an hour left should not assume the Spark is attainable.
Keep inventory space open before a threshold kill and claim Prym as soon as its Rank is reached. A full inventory or delayed claim can cost time on a second trip to town, and there may be no event spawns left after closing.
Named gifts also provide a temporary increase to Treasure Bag drop chance from Goblins, but that effect lasts only while the event is active. Once all named gifts show as claimed, leftover reputation does not unlock another box or buy a Spark.
Keep currencies and characters separate
Candy and shrine currencies belong to their own celebration shops; they do not raise March of the Goblins ranks. Spend time on the Altar board when a gift is within reach, and handle those other currencies separately.
For each character, record the current Rank, the next named gift, and whether Fedric is claimed. Give the remaining farming time to a character close to Prym or Fedric; a character with Fedric already claimed should only collect any lower gift still shown as available.
Hardcore characters should favor short circuits near portals rather than risk a deep wilderness chain for a reward that must be claimed in town. Parties can spread across adjacent zones and report Goblin portals, while solo players are better served by routes they already know.
Return to the Kyovashad Altar now, claim any open gifts, and stop once no reachable tier remains. If crafting materials are still the priority afterward, compare your stash with d4 mats for sale; that choice does not add event reputation.
With March of the Goblins closing, claim every open gift before pushing for another rank. If repairs, upgrades, or gem costs are slowing your final Fedric run, U4GM offers Diablo 4 gold at https://www.u4gm.com/diablo-4/gold Get what you need, tidy your bags, and spend the remaining event time chasing rewards that still matter.
